Auditor(s) verify the existence of a system, determine if the system is effectively implemented, and indicate all nonconformance issues requiring corrective action prior to the registration audit. The value of this “dress rehearsal” is that personnel experience the expectations of an actual registration audit; any remaining nonconformance issues can be addressed prior to the audit.
